Training/Workshop on Book Publishing: Techniques in Scientific Imaging, Layout and Graphics was held on October 27 to November 7, 2014 at NFRDI, Conference room. It was led by Dr. Jeffrey T. Williams and Dr. Kent E Carpenter, the two foreign resource speakers from the National Museum of National History of the Smithsonian Institution, USA and Old Dominion University, USA, respectively. Research assistants, graphic artists and technologists from different division and section of NFRDI as well as in the institutional centers of NFRDI like NFBC and GMRDC and National Museum of the Philippines have participated in the activity. The training aimed to enhance techniques on proper presentation of book information, imaging and layout for the development of “Commercial Marine Fishes of the Philippines”.
