Last October 27, 2011 OIC of Marine Fisheries Research Division and Genetic Fingerprinting Laboratory (MFRD-GFL) Dr. Mudjekeewis D. Santos and Research Assistant Billy Joel Catacutan attended a Fisheries Research and Development In-House Review on the Taxonomic Identification of Ludong caught in Cagayan River at Tuguegarao City, Philippines.
The team presented initial results for on-going Ludong project at National Fisheries Research and Development Institute. Different project proposals and on-going projects for R&D in-house review was also conducted. After the presentation the team attended a meeting on OPLAN SAGIP LUDONG with BFAR Region 2 Director, LGU’s, SUC’s and different Project leaders. The teams report on initial results was commended by the regional director and other panels and project leaders who attended the said seminar.
